Like my father and mother, all brothers and sisters, and even a nephew, i went to college at Berkeley. I made a living for years in mathematics, most notably as research mathematician at Harvard.
Now working in art, I sometimes consider myself, though without title, as a research artist.
The recently recruited Eve, perhaps the youngest of her squad, throws herself wholeheartedly into the new demands of cheerleading. Demure today, she will soon develop into another polished, brassy workhorse of cheer.
My painting “Four Cheerleaders” tells the story. It was about 49er quarterback Brock Purdy, number 13 and all. Then when painting, somehow cheerleaders took over. I guess my favorite things are cheerleaders, not quarterbacks,
